Jaimie Muehlhausen and the
Murderers of Love Official Shirt
I don't have to explain this do I? Hot chicks in Texas love this shirt, therefore you should get one. It's black, which goes with anything, and it says Murderers of Love on it, which makes it that much better. Don't hesitate...don't waste time thinking about it...just get it and get it now.

Good-bye California
"Southern California musician Jaimie Muehlhausen wrote and recorded this album while contemplating a move to the east coast. The opening track, "Gone, Long Gone," shows Muehlhausen talking himself into the thought of leaving the west coast, even though it's not in his heart. The album covers heartbreak of a friend, the wisdom of the beach and the longing for family. The title track ends the album with the final resolve of giving in and embracing the notion of leaving paradise. While Jaimie sings and plays most instruments, there are some stellar guest contributions from fellow Small Pox Mountain Boys, a side project of Muehlhausen's, including Rob Quillen on drums, Mike Hawkins adding bass, Oliver Fiedler, Greg Noll and the great Dave Quillen on additional guitar."
This alt.country gem runs from traditional to acoustic folk without missing a beat.

The Deadlites: Comfort
In the mid to late '90s I was in a great band called The Deadlites with Rob and Dave Quillen and Mike Hawkins. We played a ton of shows, toured the USA in our awesome tour bus and opened up for bands like Cheap Trick, The Plimsouls, and a lot of others. In 1998 we recorded this full length album at the legendary Doubletime Studios in San Diego with Jeff Forest engineering. The 24-track recorder at Doubletime we used to record this album is the very same machine that was used to record Nirvana's Nevermind, Smashing Pumpkins' Gish, Garbage's first album, and many, many more. Sadly the good vibes from the machine did not make our album a huge hit, but it sounds fantastic and I'm very proud of the record we made. I have a box of these still sitting around (holding up one end of my couch)....if you'd like one let me know and I can give you the details.
