This is a 1940s (I believe) lap steel guitar made by Dickerson. It’s got the coolest blue pearl finish, that’s been around the block a few times. Lots of companies “relic” their guitars to look this cool. So the best part is that it works great and sounds even better. Really cool instrument. When I found it hanging on the wall in a very weird used clothing store in the barrio of San Diego, it had rotted, rusted, non-working tuners with no tuning buttons remaining. I replaced those with exact reproduction replacements by Wilkinson. There were no knobs as well, so I found some authentic period correct reproductions and added those as well. Everything else is how I found it. Looks like someone along the way tried to paint a section blue to match the pearloid and there are PLENTY of dings and dents. But all in all, it’s got that amazing vibe and everyone seems to be drawn to it. The price is right and includes shipping!
