It all started when…

At the end of October 2025, like a small handful of people (as it turns out), I went to see the movie about Bruce Springsteen making his legendary album, Nebraska. The following day I posted about it on an Instagram account I run called @stuffongoodwill. This account is followed by thousands of musicians, some famous, some not so much. And lots of guitar enthusiasts. I recounted my opinion of the movie, and suggested that it would be fun to have anyone who follows the account write and record a song about any state in the USA, using only 4-tracks of music, just like Springsteen famously did on Nebraska. The response was immediate and even more enthusiastic than I thought it would be.

I am in the beginning stages of making this fun idea into an actual music project, with all the songs compiled and available for streaming in all the popular places in early 2026. Stay tunes for updates!
